FELLOWS’ FORUM

Fellows’ Forum is an assembly of Fellows of the Academy for the purpose of discussing in a semi-formal environment, technical issues and policies of national importance.  The Forum provides a useful platform for Fellows to generate a position on national policy issues and matters of concern to the Academy.

PUBLIC FORUM

Public Forum is an assembly of Fellows of the Academy where national issues are discussed in the presence of national and international leaders, academia, industry leaders, professionals, and other invited members of the society. It is an opportunity for the Academy to engage with the public and government on issues that confront the nation.

THE ANNUAL LECTURE

The Annual Lecture is a platform yielded to a distinguished professional engineer to discuss a subject in Science, Engineering and Technology at an annual gathering of Fellows of the Academy. 

 LIFE ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

Life Achievement Awards are given to Fellows that have attained the age of 75 years and have contributed immensely to the development of Science, Engineering and Technology.

 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)

The Annual General Meeting is a yearly gathering of Fellows of the Academy convened to receive the annual report from Council and Board of Directors, and decide on key issues confronting the Institution. 

TECHNOLOGY DINNER

Technology Dinner is an annual formal dinner for Fellows and spouses during which a distinguished scholar or engineer is given the floor to deliver a lecture on issues of national importance. The Academy invites top government officials, industry leaders and other stakeholders in Science, Engineering, and Technology.
