The Nigerian Academy of Engineering (NAEng) recently paid a courtesy visit to the Bank of Industry (BOI) on the 2nd of June 2026, reaffirming a shared commitment to advancing Nigeria's industrial and technological development.

The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to discuss areas of mutual interest, including innovation, engineering excellence, sustainable industrialization, and support for indigenous enterprises. Representatives of the Academy led by the Honorary Technical Secretary, Dr. Coker, emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration to drive economic growth through engineering-led solutions and strategic financing.

The discussions also highlighted the critical role of partnerships between professional bodies and development finance institutions in fostering entrepreneurship, enhancing local manufacturing, and promoting research and development.
